I really enjoyed this first installment of the Blackcreek series and I'm looking forward to reading more. I love Noah and Cooper and the emotional connection they share.
I really enjoyed the 2nd installment in the Blackcreek series. Braden and Jesse are great. I'm typically not a huge fan of kids in books but Jessie was great and added to the story.
The Resistance is one of my all-time favorite tropes. I really enjoyed Holli the strong heroine and Dalton the moody rock star.
This was a 4.5 star read for me. I loved the dialogue and the way the relationship grew in this funny and steamy read. What I didn't like was the build up was over 50% of the book and that is my #1 pet peeve. I have not read any other books in the series and had no problems following, so this can be read as a stand alone.
Destroyed was my first book by this author and I enjoyed this darker book. I had tears trickling down my face for the last half hour of this book and was satisfied with the ending.
I have been in a bit of a reading funk and Passion and Ponies made me laugh my ass off, I didn't want the book to end.
This is the first book I've read by Rachel Harris and it was a quick enjoyable read. This is book 3 in a series but I had no issues following along even though I have yet to read the first 2 books. I read Accidentally Married on Purpose because it has a trope I love, music star/commoner with it happened in Vegas. I plan on going back to read the first 2 books in this series.
What I liked - H/H are ordinary everyday people and heroine is described as a plump curvy girl. The love/sex scenes are very well written and you can feel the emotional connection, they're also hot.
What I didn't like - I'm not to much into angst and to me the whole book was very angsty, I wanted to smack numerous people more than once. A whole lot of non and miscommunication til the end.
I do plan on reading the next book(s) in the series as the blurbs sound good.
I could have never dreamed or wished for a better way to close the Rough Riders series by Lorelei James. 15 outstanding books leading up to Cowboy Take Me Away, THE.EPIC.LOVE.STORY. I was tearing up by 6% in and I knew then this book would be phenomenal. The story of Carson & Carolyn McKay will take readers on a roller coaster ride of 50+ years, tears will be shed, smiles will be plenty and many laughs will be had.
Go With Me by Elyssa Patrick was a 4.5 star read for me. I've been waiting for this book since finishing Stay With Me and was not disappointed. Nick and Daphene's story exceeded my expectations and I felt Ms. Patrick stepped up her game with this book. A must read for readers who love NA. I have to say that Nick Fucking Brady is now my favorite, sorry Caleb. It was fun visiting with the rest of the crew and I'm looking forward to Jamie's book this fall. I also would love to learn more about Jack.
I love this series, I am so happy that Em finally got her HEA. Liam (Hunter) is exactly the type of hero she needed and I was very pleased with this installment of the series. I want Picnic's story now please.
This was a 3.5 star read for me. I really have enjoyed all the books I've read by Ms. Bailey but this story dragged a bit for me and the constant internal struggles of Hayden became annoying.
This was my first book by Ms. Pillows and while I enjoyed the story and characters the book moved a bit slower than I like.
I love this series. Getting to visit with Janie and Quinn and the rest of the gang put a smile on my face. I loved the interactions between the characters, many were humorous and some were heartfelt. Neanderthal Marries Human (Knitting in the City, #1.5) is a very entertaining read, I would highly recommend this book and series
