Four Weddings and a Break Up by Elyssa Patrick

Four Weddings and a Break Up - Elyssa Patrick

I don't usually post long reviews as I have a tendency to want to talk about things that are spoilers but here is my attempt at a more than 2 sentence non-spoilery review.

I really love Ms. Patrick's writing voice and the style of this contemporary made for a very enjoyable read. Ms. Patrick deals with a dark and possible taboo topic in this book, it's written very well and although it's a major hurdle for the heroine her other issues make Ginny very relateable. Each character is showcased dealing with their own personal issues/demons which rounds out the book. I had numerous emotions while reading but the two strongest for me where the hilarity of numerous situations and the need to smack the H/H a few times (You know what I'm talking about that flop back in your chair, groan out loud and shake your head need to reach into the book and smack/shake some sense into the characters). The secondary characters were strong and I am looking forward to reading their stories, in fact I would have loved to dive right into the next book as soon as I finished.

I did guess the break up correctly score 1 for me but I was wrong about the suspense part score 1 for Ms. Patrick.

Checkmate (Neighbor from Hell #3) by R.L. Mathewson

Checkmate (Neighbor from Hell #3) - R.L. Mathewson

I really enjoyed this third installment of R.L. Mathewson's Neighbor From Hell series. In Checkmate we are introduced to the James family who are cousins to the Bradfords. Rory and Conner's story was very enjoyable and continued to be just has hilarious and sexy as the first two books in this series.

Truce: The Historic Neighbor from Hell (Neighbor from Hell #4) by R.L. Mathewson

Truce (Neighbor from Hell #4) - R.L. Mathewson

Another excellent addition to the Neighbor From Hell series. I enjoy historical romances so this book was a fun twist on a contemporary series.

Bound (Mastered #1) by Lorelei James

Bound - Lorelei James

I was prepared for the cliffhanger and I think that helped me enjoy the book more than if it was sprung on me at the last minute. I think the first book in a cliffhanger series are typically the build up to the real goods. Looking forward to reading Unwound.

Tall, Dark & Heartless (Pyte/Sentinel, #3) by R.L. Mathewson

Tall, Dark & Heartless (Pyte/Sentinel #3) - R.L. Mathewson

Tall Dark & Heartless told the story of Danni and Caine along with a parallel story of the original characters currently at the compound. Even though the stories finally connect I'm still not sure what purpose Danni & Caine are to serve being added and I was left with more questions than answers.

Play by Kylie Scott

Play (A Stage Dive Novel) - Kylie Scott

Sexy, funny, heartbreaking and playful are the words I would use to describe Play by Kylie Scott. Mal and Anne are both great and I could've read more. The only thing I didn't like about the book is that it ended, yes Ms. Scott gave the reader a complete story but I still wanted more, I was completely sucked into this story.

Love and Lists (Chocoholics, #1) by Tara Sivec

Love and Lists - Tara Sivec

I just didn't connect well with Gavin's POV but I did enjoy the humor and re-visiting previous characters and situations that were mentioned. The second half of the book I really enjoyed.

Archer's Voice (A Sign of Love #4) by Mia Sheridan

Archer's Voice: Sign of Love, Sagittarius (Volume 4) - Mia Sheridan

This was a good NA read that is part of a series but can read as a stand alone. I really enjoyed this book and towards the end had me holding my breath.

Baby, Be Mine (Thompson & Sons) by Vivian Arend

Baby, Be Mine - Vivian Arend

I loved Gage and Katy and I so wanted to beat Simon. I am looking forward to more in this series.

Beyond Jealousy (Beyond #4) by Kit Rocha

Beyond Jealousy - Kit Rocha

This is a MUST READ series. I was looking forward to reading this book because of Ace and Rachel but I have to say that Cruz is the one that made the book for me. This menage story is one of my favorite types where everyone participates with everyone. I LOVE THIS SERIES. The ending OMG, I need the next book.

Unconditional (Always #1) by Cherie M. Hudson

Unconditional - Cherie M. Hudson

It wasn't a bad book but I just didn't connect with the main characters. I liked the minor characters better and seemed to connect with them. The next book will be about The Bicep who I really liked.

Baby, It's Cold Outside (Men at Work #1) by HelenKay Dimon

Baby, It's Cold Outside - HelenKay Dimon

This was a 3.5 star read for me as I felt something was missing and I needed more to accept the HEA. I also would have loved and epilogue.

Ball & Chain (Cut & Run #8) by Abigail Roux

Ball & Chain - Abigail Roux

Another awesome installment in the Cut and Run series by Abigail Roux. My basic reactions to reading Ball and Chain were aww, no way, oh, WTF, OMG, 35 minutes left no way how can all the things happen, Finally.

Sex Love Repeat by Alessandra Torre

Sex Love Repeat - Alessandra Torre

I dislike cheating stories but in this book all parties are aware that another person is involved. I like that the big WTF was stated at a bit over 50% (paperback doesn't have page #'s) or so in the book so you weren't left hanging and the resolution was dealt with over chapters instead of BAM and done. The epilogue will make you go OH.

The Plan by Qwen Salsbury

The Plan - Qwen Salsbury

My issue with the book is a personal one, I just didn't care for the writing style. The book was good, loved the premise but had a hard time reading.

Without Regret (Pyte/Sentinel #2) by R.L. Mathewson

Without Regret (Pyte/Sentinel #2) - R.L. Mathewson

3.5 star read for me. I like this series but it feels like Twilight fan-fic and there are a lot of errors.
